Number of unemployed young people reaches all time low

Unemployment is falling across the country.
Following statistics released by the ONS, there’s some good news for the East Midlands.
It’s been annouced that eighty three thousand more people are in work compared to the same time last year.
Furthermore, the number of unemployed young people has fallen by over a quarter of a million, which is the largest annual fall since records began.
Those seeking Jobseekers Allowance are also in decline.
Eileen Hunne is a job centre manager at the Department of Work and Pensions in the area and she chatted to our reporter Sebastian Edgington-Cole about the statistics.
