A dripping hot water tap could unnecessarily add up to £18 pounds a year to your water bill, whilst spending one less minute in the shower could save you between £5 and £10 per year.

These are just two of the warnings from the Consumer Council for Water at the start of the Big Energy Saving Week.

Using water more efficiently is good for your pcoket and for your carbon footprint.

Andrew White, senior policy manager for the Council,  talked to our reporter Sebastian Edgington-Cole and gave his top advice on saving water, energy and money.
