Armistice Day commemorated in Lincoln

One hundred years after World War One started, people in Lincoln gathered around the memorial on Lincoln High Street on 11 November 2014 to commemorate the end of it.
Two minutes of silence were observed at 11 o’clock by cadets, service personnel, veterans and members of the public.
