This year sees the launch of ‘Our Park’ day at Boultham Park on the 15th May. On this date in 1929 the Park began its journey to the well-loved park it is today, when the City of Lincoln bought the land and opened it to the community.
Boultham Park is currently under-going restoration for some of its key features. But it is still keen on celebrating its heritage and history by hosting this event to help raise funds towards the restoration.
It hopes to raise money to pay for some improvements to the parks facilities and restoration. The day-long celebration starts at 4pm through until 7pm, where there will be lots of fun activities and games to take part in as well as a display by the fantastic birds of prey.
Donations are welcome and can be made on your mobile by texting BPRK72 and your chosen donation amount to 70070 to JustGiving. For more information on how you can get involved, please contact Verity Kirk on 01522 503197 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
