Make sure you tune into Siren FM tomorrow afternoon at 4pm. Liam Juniper is presenting a special edition of No Adults Allowed and he will be joined by some special guests from the Grantham Youth Centre. For the past couple of months Siren have been working with the children from the centre and the Shooting Fish Theatre Company to produce a special radio play called No Ball Games. This show is a celebration of all the hard work the group have put in and the drama is described below.
“Ever wondered what it was like to try those things you know you shouldn’t? “No Ball Games” tells the story of Paige, a teenager, who is bored of living in a town with nothing exciting to do and what happens to her when she tries to make life a little more interesting… “
The drama has been written, directed and performed by the children from the Grantham Youth Centre and they’ll be talking to Liam about what it was like to make the drama. The project has been funded by Mediabox which is administered by the Department for Education. You can find out more about Siren’s previous Mediabox project by going to our projects page and you find out more about the Mediabox scheme by logging onto their website.
