Engaging US election coverage coming to Siren FM
Written by Andrew David on 6th June 2016
Siren FM’s US election coverage starts tomorrow (Tuesday, June 7 2016) between 7pm-9pm with guests in studio and from the across the Atlantic.
The programmes will be presented by Siren FM’s managing editor Andrew David and Bruce K. Rosenblum, former Executive Vice President at Warner Bros. Media Research & Insights, who will be based in Los Angeles.
Before the start of tomorrow’s US election coverage, Andrew said:
This is a seismic year for democracy across the world – in the UK there is the Referendum in June and in the United States they’ll be voting for their next President in November. Engaging with the new electorate is going to be vital; and so Siren FM, with its remit to work with and for 18 – 25 year olds in particular, is running a series of programmes linking voices in the UK with similar ones in the US to explore through the way that radio loves storytelling as many of the issues we can in two hours.
Tune in tomorrow from 7pm on Siren FM, available in Lincoln on 107.3 FM, online at sirenonline.co.uk and on mobile via the Radioplayer app (Apple App Store for iPad and iPhone or from Google Play for Android devices) or TuneIn.
