Hi, My name is Thomas Steven’s and I have a learning disability, however this has not stopped me striving to achieve my ambition of becoming a professional radio presenter. I have presented jazz and big band programmes on the radio for 3 years. I started playing jazz on hospital radio in 2007 on Radio Witham at Grantham hospital doing a show called “The Big Band Box” which I still present weekly. I also currently present the Siren FM show, “Simply Jazz” which I started in August 2010.
I play the very best of past and present jazz and swing with the melodies from the golden age of the Big Bands. I regularly have special guests, new releases and features on the show.
If you want more information you can contact the show via emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone / leave a message on 01522 837337.
My greatest ambition in life is to develop a learning disability radio station for people like me. It’s important to have dreams and goals to work towards and that’s what I’m doing in the next few years.
