  • On Wednesday, June 27th and Thursday, June 28th, the Olympic Flame will visit Lincoln as part of its tour across the country – and marking one month to go until the games begin. Siren FM will be live with the Torch Takeover for 10 hours across the two days to bring you all the excitement and energy before, during and after the events taking place around the city.

    There’s so much on that it’s impossible to be everywhere at once – so wherever you are in the city, Siren FM will be here to bring everything to you!

    Siren FM’s Torch Takeover

    Wednesday: 3pm to 5pm
    Jonathan Cresswell presents the first leg of coverage with everything you need to know in the run up to all the events across the big day with where to go and what to see, joined by Gav Roberts and the No Adults Allowed team as they take part in their own alternative games.

    Wednesday: 5pm to 7pm
    Alex Lewczuk continues the Torch Takeover with live coverage of the relay itself as the Olympic Flame arrives in Lincoln at 5:28pm and makes its way up to Yarborough Sports Ground with our reporters across the city.

    Wednesday: 7pm to 9pm
    Torch Relay coverage continues as Jonathan Cresswell brings you the evening celebrations at the Festival of Light, more interviews and a chance to catch up on the day’s events with Sam Pidoux and Charlotte Reid.

    Thursday: 6am to 10am
    Sam Pidoux and Charlotte Reid take the lead on a special breakfast show as the torch makes its way from the castle around 8am and out of the city.
