Posted: October 18th, 2012 | Author: | Comments Off

Jess Ratcliff here,

just wanted to share with you that this month’s R&B Show is a Roots of Rock ‘n’ Roll Special.  I will attempt to answer in 2 hours the question ‘what was the first ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll record?’  Tracks by Big Joe Turner, Arthur Crudup, Big Mama Thornton, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Buddy Holly and the Drifters and the album of the month will be Elvis Presley’s self titled debut from 1956.

So, tune in from 8.00 p.m. tonight, repeated at 7.00 p.m. on Saturday.
