Siren FM was granted a further 5 years for its licence to broadcast in Lincoln earlier this year. And we’d like to hear from you. What do you think of what we do at the moment and what would you like us to try and do in the next 5 years? Just some of the questions for which we’d like your input.
Community radio is the only growth area in broadcasting in the UK, over 200 stations now on air and the number will be up to 250 in the next couple of years.
I’m inviting you to come along to an open meeting early in the new year where members of the volunteer team will show you around the staion and then, over refreshments, you can have the floor and let us know what you think and feel. Anyone from the age of 9 upwards is welcome to join us.
If you’d like more infomration please email me – firstname.lastname@example.org, or drop me a line by post to;
Andrew David, Siren FM, Brayford Pool, Lincoln, LN6 7TS.
I’ll then add you to the mailing list and send details of the first meeting for 2013.
Thanks, in anticipation,
Andrew David – Managing Editor, Siren FM
