Lincoln Calling

Written by on 26th September 2013

lulWhat can we say? It’s been a productive two weeks since the last shows.  We’ve plastered all over Face Book/Twitter the news about Lincoln band Lock Up Laura releasing their debut album Running In The Dark and how anticipated it was. Well, now it’s out (before Alter Bridge releases their stunning album Fortress!!!) and they’ve delivered a cracker.  However the thing that truly stunned me & Kev to the core was the inclusion of ourselves, the show and the station getting a massive thank you on the albums credits…as they say it’s the small things that have the biggest impact, Thanks guys!

On the show this week we have music by the stunning Orianthi, Primitai, Alice In Chains and tons more. Interviews from Joey Jordison, speaking about his new project Scar The Martyr and Dream Theater speak about their stunning self-titled album.

Our Extra Carriage show is a truly local affair. Lock up Laura speak to us just before they took to the stage for their album launch show last Friday at Rock Haven. We also have an amazing acoustic session from The Freefall who seem to get closer to mass success by the week.lul set

Plus all the usual excellent music including Shinedown, Alter Bridge and a very special track from Sleaford band Nightvision. Nightvision will be playing their final ever gig this week and we will be bringing you an exclusive interview from their show.

As usual thanks for all the support from you all and keep listening for more amazing interviews and sessions to come in future shows.
