As all the students return to university life some of our show teams are coming back to bring you more Siren programmes. This week saw the long awaited return of Ten Tonnes of Pure Metal and next week brings the come back of two more shows.
Behind the Headlines
Professor Richard Keeble will be bringing his unique analysis of the weeks news on Friday the 1st October at 10am. He will be discussing the big stories in the press with two special guests, both of whom will be choosing two of their favourite records.
The Linc Podcast
On the back of their launch party last Thursday The Linc are also returning to the airwaves. The team are fully recharged after the summer break and will have weekly news from the university campus and beyond. Make sure to tune in to the show on Sundays from 12pm. You can also download their podcast by going to thelinc.co.uk.
End Of The Week
This not so much a return for this show as a move. End Of The Week has now moved to Saturday at 2pm with a repeat in their old slot, Sunday 2pm. This prompted much debate in the office about which day is actually the end of the week so depending on your view point you can either listen to it at the end or the beginning of the week.
And finally we say goodbye to Tom Davies who presents his last show at Siren next Friday at 9pm. Tomhas been with us since the age of 15 and we’ve seen him develop into a fantastic presenter whose humour will be missed by Siren staff and listeners. We wish him luck with his move to Warwick University and his future radio career.
