The latest on our new programmes

Written by on 9th June 2010

We have some more programming news for you this week. Last week saw the end of one show and launch of a new one.

Midweek Madams started last Wednesday and will be on every Wednesday afternoon between one and three.

Leon also presented his last No Adults Allowed last Friday but he will not be disappearing from the Siren airwaves for ever. Starting this week he will be bringing you the best in new music every Thursday night between seven and nine.

In the vacated No Adults slot this week we will be bringing you a selection of work produced by the Level One Media Production students at the University of Lincoln. This includes a mixture of programmes and packages about a variety of subjects including politics, fashion and comedy. Make sure you tune in on Thursday and Friday afternoon between three and five.

We’d also like to draw your attention to some very special programming starting next week. Siren FM has been working with Media Box and C1Media to produce a series of programmes called Our World. The programmes have been produced and presented by teenagers in Lincoln and will feature the issues that are important to them.

The ten minute programmes will be broadcast weekdays between the 14th and 25th June from three onwards. More information will appear on the Projects section of the website soon.
