As we come towards the end of term and exams at the University of Lincoln, wouldn’t it be nice to save some money before heading home for the summer?
The TV Licensing is reminding those moving home for the summer from university, that they may be able to claim a refund.
The refund is worth £36 pounds and 76 pence as students will have a full three months remaining on their licence if they purchased the TV license at the start of the academic year.
The money you save could be used for many things. For example you could buy a train ticket, festival ticket, a single way ticket to Berlin and more.
To be eligible students need to have three things in order to receive a refund.
Firstly a TV Licence is needed, secondly the student needs to be leaving their halls or rented accommodation and lastly they must be moving to a licensed address.
To arrange a refund, or for further information, simply visit: www.tvlicensing.co.uk/studentinfo, or call TV Licensing on 0300 790 6113.
