On Tuesday afternoon 26 pupils from Heighington Millfield Primary Academy visited the International Bomber Command Centre to place poppies on the memorial walls.
Phase One of the International Bomber Command Centre project is now complete with the Memorial Spire and Wall of Names officially unveiled.

The Lincolnshire Bomber Command Memorial Trust has been awarded earmarked funding of £3.1million from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
