“It’s their legacy.” Schoolchildren visit the IBCC

On Tuesday 03 November, 26 pupils from Heighington Millfield Primary Academy visited the International Bomber Command Centre on Canwick Hill, in Lincoln.
They went there to place paper poppies on the memorial walls, which list the 25,611 Aircrew that flew out of Lincolnshire and adjacent airbases during World War Two, never to return.
