Jarrad Johnson and Barney Packer

Barney Packer (right) performed live on Monday’s Breakfast Show – pictured here with Jarrad Johnson (left).

A 19-year-old student at the University of Lincoln has released his first album.

Barney Packer studies Journalism and PR and has had a love of music since the age of eight when he first picked up his guitar.

He wrote his first song when he was just ten – that’s not on the album – and his ambition was to release an album by the time he turned 19.

He joined The Siren FM Breakfast Show host Jarrad Johnson on Monday morning to talk about making music and releasing his album ‘One’.

He also gave a live performance of his single Boys and Girls.

All nine tracks are available to listen to and download from soundcloud.
