This was Ben Keaton’s third appearance on SquabbleBox, in the past appearing to discuss the Lincoln Comedy Academy and his comedy show ‘Arse Biscuits’. This time however it was the Lincoln Film and Television School which was on the agenda.

The Lincoln Film and Television School, in association with the University of Lincoln, are returning for the third year running to offer an amazing summer school experience for the young people of Lincolnshire. The 5 day summer school is the perfect opportunity for young people who are interested in any aspect of film making production, starting with the basics of how to frame a shot, right up to making your own film.

Ben himself runs the workshops, giving the students the incredible chance to work with an award winning filmmaker who has worked at a high level in all areas of the industry.

In previous years the summer school have covered Zombie Horror, Film Noir and Music Video. Ben announced to us on Thursday’s episode that this year’s theme is the massively popular POKEMON GO. In fact the school is so popular that the Lincoln branch of the workshop has SOLD OUT for this year, however the school at WOODHALL SPA still has a few places left.

LFTS

The Lincoln Film and Television School Summer School will be taking place at St Hugh’s School Woodhall Spa for 11 to 16 year olds, from the 21st to 25th August 2016 (£125 per student or £230 for two students).

This is a brilliant opportunity for any aspiring film makers or anyone with an interest in filmmaking that wants to keep busy during the summer holidays!
