Lincolnshire residents get on their bikes!

Lincolnshire’s Cycle 60 riders on their bikes!

Thirty-one people have braved the recent windy weather to take part in a pilot cycling programme in the city.

Cycle60, a free eight-session beginner/refresher cycling programme ran by Lincolnshire Sport and supported by Access Lincoln and Lincolnshire County Council, encourages those who maybe aren’t that physically active to get on their bikes.

The scheme aims to take people from the start of learning to ride and bike over an 8 week period to build up their skill set and become more confident cyclists.

Ride leaders are all trained by British Cycling ride leaders.

Siren FM’s Jane Gadsby spoke to Lincolnshire Sport’s Lucy Blakey and a Cycle 60 ride leader Melanie Carroll about why she loves cycling.
