Local Featured Artist Of The Week: The Pylons

Written by on 10th March 2018

The Pylons have been announced as Siren Radio’s official Local Featured Artist Of The Week for the week beginning 12th March 2018.

The reveal arrives on a huge week for the popular Lincoln based Indie Pop band as they released their latest single Just Beyond Home on Thursday 8th March.

The Pylons reacted: “We took a bit of time away between our last EP in 2016 and now but we’re really proud of this latest single as a way of reintroducing ourselves to the world. The song is about our guitarist Alex’s memories of growing up on a farm in Lincolnshire, harking back to a time when our lives and the world was all a bit more straightforward.

The track also has some sadness attached to it as our singers Emily and Barney recently decided to go separate ways from the band and so this will be the last release as The Pylons as people know it.

The remaining members plan to carry on with the project and we’re really pleased to be the official Local Featured Artist Of The Week, so far the new music has been well received and we can’t wait to bring out more music in 2018!”
Their track ‘Just Beyond Home’ has been added to our A-List, so tune in to Siren Radio throughout the week to hear it!
