One hundred years since the guns fell silent on the Western Front, Lincolnshire Remembers presents this tribute in remembrance of the fallen of all wars; those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

On Saturday 3rd November 2018, singers from Lincoln Choral Society, Gainsborough Choral Society, Scunthorpe Choral Society, Grimsby Philharmonic Society, Louth Choral Society, Neustadt Liedertafel, and the Choristers of Lincoln Cathedral were joined by the Lincolnshire Chamber Orchestra for a performance of Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem, in the Nave of Lincoln Cathedral.

This programme is an uninterrupted recording of the live performance, with an introduction from Siren Radio’s Andrew David.

The soloists are Rachel Nicholls – Soprano, Alessandro Fisher – Tenor, and Julien Van Mallaerts – Baritone.
