There’s two teams behind City Vibe – and here’s the first. Say hello to Mat, Charlotte, Josh, Danielle, Kerry, Lisa, Holly, Simon and Adrian.
Group A’s first show is on October 29th.
Mat Johns
I’m Mat, I come from a small town called Shefford in Bedfordshire. Here are just a few things about me. I really enjoy watching and occasionally (rarely) playing sport, I watch whatever sport is on television really.
I really enjoy listening to a variety of music and you can never beat the classics such as The Beach Boys and The Beatles.
I also really enjoy cooking, that’ s why one of my presents this year was a griddle pan. I watch films everyday either at home or at the cinema. I am home to a DVD collection of over 700 discs.
Soon I will also be co-presenting a new music show on Siren FM called favourite noise with Brooke Charlesworth and Calum Fuller.
Charlotte Reid
Hello! I am a journalism student at the university who has been involved with Siren ever since I joined the uni.
I didn’t like my photo being taken which is why I look shy.
According to Josh Jackson, friend and colleague, I have a nice voice.
Josh Jackson
I am the former News Coordinator of Siren News and have been working at Siren since 2008. I am keen on cars, especially luxury cars; eventually I would like to become a motoring journalist.
I am also looking to move to Australia.
Danielle Middleton
I’m Danielle from Central London. I think I’m pretty easy going, bubbly and outspoken. I like all sorts of films and music.
Your typical student… Socialising, partying and vodka being amongst the things I like best.
Kerry Lambie
I love the sound of my own voice, and endeavour to make sure that everybody else does too! I am a 3rd year student here at the LSJ, but I’m also a mum of one 10 year old boy… and 2 dogs, 3 cats, some chickens and ducks!
You can also hear me every Wednesday on Mid Week Madams, here on the fab Siren FM, with my crazy co-host Lisa! I love reading, gardening, making (and drinking) wine…when I grow up I’m going to be famous and live in a mansion by the sea.
Lisa Denholm
I am a year 3 Journalism student. I’ ve been working on Siren for nearly 3 years, in various roles. I do a show with Kerry (but you must call her Kerrence). It’ s Mid-Week Madams and it’ s on every Wed 1-3pm. One day, I hope to have a family of cats (around 100) to keep me company, in a big mansion.
I’ m also going to marry Rod Stewart, preferably before he reaches 70. And, quite rightly, he’ s going to live in my mansion with me. We’ ll listen to his songs all day and tend to our cats.
I also really love watermelon.
Holly Collas
Hey! My name’s Holly and I never ever ever stop talking. I live in Jersey with the potatoes, cows and Bergerac. It’ s an awesome place to grow up and is normally a lot warmer than Lincoln!
My previous radio experience include Lincs FM and BBC Jersey, which I started when I was 16! My proudest moment was when I won the John Uphoff Memorial Award for radio in the summer of 2010.
My main interests are music and health and one day I hope to have a show of my very own. I hope you will be listening!
Simon McKnight
I’m Simon, I’m from Jersey….well known for its cows, beaches……and bergerac. My nick name is Sharky, as you can see from my picture, I look like a shark. Friend and Colleague Lisa Denholm says I have a cute smile. She is correct.
