On City Vibe this week:

With silent film The Artist nominated for 10 Oscars, Jonathan Holmes looks in to history of the silent film genre and their appeal, and hear what happened when he went to see some classics at a special event.

The Great Australian Breakfast returns for the 21st year on Sunday – we find out more about the event, and you can find out more and listen to the interview in full here.

January is often described as the most depressing time of the year but is there any truth to it? We speak to the mental health charity Mind.

We also spoke live to Roger Mosey, the director of 2012 for the BBC, and you can listen again to that interview here:

There’s also a round-up of the latest news, sport and entertainment.
